ACCOMMODATION
The Border Hotel has five 'named' bedrooms, each offering exceptionally high standards of comfort with spectacular views over the village green or the surrounding countryside. All five rooms are as charming as they are functional, with en-suite shower and bath, flat-screen digital TV, tea and coffee facilities and radio alarm clock. Breakfasts are served from 8.00am and offer a comprehensive choice from the traditional Scottish breakfast to the popular scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. For those wishing an early start, breakfast trays are available.

ROOM INFORMATION

The Pennine Suite overlooks the village green, has a king sized bed plus a lounge with a high quality sofa be suitable for an extra person. This is also the hotel's family room and discounts are available for children. This room can also be let as a triple room.

The Cheviot Room is the hotel's twin room and can also be booked as a double.

The Bowmont Room is a double room and can be let as a twin.

The Teviot Room is a double room with antique iron bed.

The Tweed Room is a large double room overlooking the hotel's patio area. It can be let as a twin and as a triple with an extra, folding bed.
 

Dogs welcome

Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay with residents at the hotel although a charge will be made for housekeeping - please ask about this when booking. We also allow dogs in the public bar but not in any of the dining areas.

 

TARIFF

Our tariff for 2009 remain at the 2007 rates. Room charges include VAT and a full Scottish breakfast.

Walkers Special Deal

- NEW FOR 2009 -
 If you book a double or twin room and stay for a minimum of two nights, we will arrange to collect and return you to your walk on The Pennine Way or St. Cuthbert's Way. This offer must be pre-arranged with the hotel and booked when you book your room. The hotel is also able to offer advice on bus timetables or
arrange for a taxi to Berwick for Pennine Way walkers who need assistance to get home.
